Purpose of the position
- Manage complex superheated steam plants and cogeneration systems
- Manage production systems for compressed air, nitrogen, demineralized water, chilled water, and other refrigerant carriers (glycol, brine)
- Manage wells for water extraction
- Manage cryogenic vent abatement plants
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervising Utilities production facilities in running, starting and stopping machines, in accordance with directions from direct supervisor (Utilities coordinator and shift leader)
- Daily compiling of daily timesheets and monthly summaries
- Monitoring of process parameters (temperatures, Pressures, pH, conductivity) by supervisory system (DCS), by field instruments and where necessary by bench sampling and analysis
- Performing operations on Utilities distribution networks (Valves, manual and automatic)
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of the main Utilities serving production technologies
- Generator Operator’s License 1st degree (preferred), however, applications from personnel holding 2nd degree licenses will be considered
- Availability to work three shifts
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience (even brief) in chemical/manufacturing, pharmaceutical chemical companies and/or thermal power plants will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of MS -Office package, SAP
